Building Life Skills - KAMs Committee
The Building Life Skills (BLS) group have developed micro-businesses, producing products to sell at the local Kalamunda Artisan Markets each month. These products are also available online, through our online shop, the BLS Facebook page and from Building Friendships office.
The Kalamunda Artisan Market stall committee (KAM’s) crew was formed by a group of our clients, who make the products and run the stall. This group of passionate young individuals has proven their ability to run their own businesses.
Through making and selling their products, our clients have told us they feel more connected, engaged, and empowered, strengthening their skills for independent living.
Building Friendships supports our crew by showcasing their micro-businesses on their behalf, creating awareness and generating additional sales. Building Friendships also provides staff to assist the KAM’s committee.
Some of the products we make and sell include: Pickled Onions | Chilli Pickled Onions | Heat Packs | Dehydrated Fruits | Timber Products | Planter boxes | Mixed Herbs | Artwork | Beaded jewellery and ceramics
Program runs from 9-3 pm.
Where possible we offer collection from home.
